Re: Suggestions for Clipboard Replacement

Thanks, but none of those are really suitable. I will keep looking - thought I had found one in Kana Clip, but it crashes every single time I try and close the permanent clips editing dialog. Oh well.

Suggestions for Clipboard Replacement

I'm looking for a tool that can insert phrases into a document - essentially like the permanent clips function of ArsClip. ArsClip is fine, but I was hoping to find something without clipboard monitoring. All the clipboard/text processing tools in TPFC's database seem to either i. Have the clipboard...

Re: Pretty Good ID - Password replacement

The Firefox addons are still undergoing the review process, which I must say is a royal pain the a** compared to the Chrome submission process. Browser add-on's are one of the more important vectors for attack for malware authors now. If Google's Play store is any guide to their Chrome store, it is...

Re: Program that checks webpages for changes?

If you are willing to accept non-portable, WebMon: http://www.cmcode.co.uk/webmon/ romulous Edit: Actually, this is one of the items in the changelog. It may be portable with a little bit of work (I just use it without any changes, and it puts its files in AppData\Roaming, like many other apps): Add...

Re: Looking for image viewer with specific feature

Yes, the IrfanView one is a nice trick - and it will do nicely for my purposes :) I never thought of screen-capping the image (I use both ShareX and PicPick) and measuring it that way either, so that would have been an alternative.

Looking for image viewer with specific feature

Hi everyone, A bit of an odd request, but I was hoping someone may be able to help me. I do a lot of image viewing where I need to find particular x,y co-ordinates (in pixels) of a particular image. Now, most image viewers/editors will include something that tells you what co-ordinates your mouse is...

Re: Instagiffer

The website link on the entry is faulty - it appends the portablefreeware.com domain before the Instagiffer domain.

Looking for an Old Program - EXE-based restrictions

This is a long shot, I know - but I remember an old freeware program that allowed you to set restrictions on an .exe by .exe basis. I seem to recall that you could load an executable into it, and then disable actions that you did not want that executable to be able to do - such as access the interne...

Re: System Tray Icon Organiser

Yes, you can still hide the tray icons as in XP (it's actually more flexible in Seven - you can show them, hide them, or hide them initially but show them automatically upon notification). I guess via Windows itself is a better way of doing it than another utility running in the background, so that ...

System Tray Icon Organiser

This is probably a bit of an odd request, but my googling has not really turned up anything thus far. I'm looking for an application that can organise the system tray icons (Win 7). Essentially I have a largish number of system tray icons, some of them I use, some of them I don't. What I was hoping ...

Though it isn't really designed for website logons, I read this and thought that there were some similarities between it and PGID:

Re: AxCrypt2Go & AxDecrypt

latest version is v1.7.2867 (released 2011-12-04 Incorrect. That is just the latest version released to Sourceforge - the current version is only hosted on the Axantum website.
