Re: Mittere - add apps and folders to the Send To menu
Thank you donald . I agree that the "Open" button could be confusing, especially since at this point it is not even mentioned in the readme file. I will work on it. :D As to the feature request, I like it! I don't think I can see adding it to this app for several reasons but I can certainly write a ...

Re: Mittere - add apps and folders to the Send To menu
I have made some refinements, and even created an icon! Would anyone be kind enough to take a look and post back their thoughts?

Re: Mittere - add apps and folders to the Send To menu
Don't mean to rain on anyone's parade... Not to worry Midas . I had my parade water proofed long ago. :) While I was not aware of that particular app, I was never under the impression that my program was in any way unique. To be honest, I write my apps mostly because I want to, and not necessarily ...

Mittere - add apps and folders to the Send To menu
I responded to a request on the AutoHotkey forum to create a 'drop target' for the Send To menu. The idea was add an item to the menu which would in turn add anything dropped onto it to the Send To menu. I took the idea a bit further and came up with Mittere. Description: Mittere (Latin, meaning "to...

Re: Using Compiled Batch files to 'portabilize' command-line
I think you will find that AutoHotkey scripts can do anything a batch file can do, and far more. The syntax is very similar and easy to learn, the only drawback is that a compiled AHk script will have a much larger file size than a batch file. A minimum of about 400kb.

Re: USB Sudoku
This looks like a VERY nice Sudoku game. The vast majority of Sudoku apps for Windows don't even let you note possible numbers!

Re: gMote
The download link is broken. The author is now letting CNET host the app and they have converted it into some weird pseudo installer executable. I am not sure what needs to be done about this. It may no longer qualify as portable.

Re: Stick-It!
I followed your link then used the search box on the page and found this: http://download.famouswhy.com/stick_it_/ Which appears to be the same url they sent me, so I guess there is something to this. I am still wary though. :? Edit: I followed the links and found the "award" consists of a badge the...

Re: Stick-It!
No. As I said, there were no details, just a few links, and it said to reply to the e-mail for more info. I am just wondering if it is even possible for this to be legit, if anyone has heard of this site or knows anything about it.

Re: Stick-It!
Has anyone heard of the website famouswhy.com? I got a contact form submission on my site saying they have added Stick-It! to their freeware database and that it has won an award of some kind. They did not provide details, just some links. But since I have never heard of them I hesitate to click any...

Re: Avast antivirus insanity: Asking for help
No. I like not having to have ads on my site. But I also like knowing I have the freedom to do as I like with my site. The few other free hosts I looked at just didn't offer what weebly does.
