Closeout

"Closeout sends the 'close' signal to all open windows. Allowing you to clear your desktop of just about any number of open files, folders or applications just by launching Closeout." Closeout provides the same functionality as Close All Windows, which is already in the database, only Closeout is op...

iSpace

The iPhone and other tablet devices have the ability to interpret a rapid double space as a period-space, in order to make using the touch keyboard much faster. iSpace attempts to provide this functionality for Windows. http://www.portablefreeware.com/index.php?id=2484 Please check it out and vote! 8)

Question about updating an app listing

I was asked a question on the AutoHotkey forum about why TPFC does not change the AutoHotkey listing over to _L, since it is now the 'official' version: http://www.autohotkey.com/board/topic/89659-double-click-xbutton1-to-launch-notepad/#entry567827 The only reason I can think of is that the portabl...

Re: Famulus

Greetings freakazoid ! Sorry, I have not been doing much active scripting this past year. I still think being able to adjust the prompt size is a good idea, I just have not been working on it. I also know of at least one significant error in the Famulus source code I need to fix. I will get back to ...

Re: Announcement

Where have all the 'old regular' TPFC users gone? I still come check on the site from time to time. I have just been pretty busy the last few months. I promise a live beta site will be up soon! Yay! Not that there is anything wrong with the current design, but a renovation can be most ple...

Re: Mittere - add apps and folders to the Send To menu

An excellent suggestion Lupo73 . I had thought about doing something like that, but I am terrible at working with the ListView control. I only have one app that uses a ListView and it took me two months to get it working. I may still implement a ListView at some point, but for now opening the Send T...

Re: Mittere - add apps and folders to the Send To menu

I have updated the original post of this thread with a new version of Mittere. Several bugs have been fixed and a few improvements have been made. Please take a look and see what you think. The download link is in the original post:

Re: Nexus 7 tablet

Thanks Ruby ! I had seen a few reviews but they were heavy on opinion and sparse on useful information. These links look more promising. :) If anyone is interested, I also posted this on the AutoHotkey forum. Here is a link: http://www.autohotkey.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=88671 Edit: I found...

Nexus 7 tablet

I am considering getting a Nexus 7, but I would like to know more about them. I was wondering if any forum members are planning to get one, and if after they have had it for a while they would be willing to post something of a review and maybe even answer a few questions.

Thanks. 8-)

Re: Autorun file does not execute the batch file

I still can't get anything to automatically run on drive insertion, but the instructions near the top of this page let me add a custom item to the menu that pops up when I insert the drive: http://www.visualdesigning.com/autorun-usb/#basic Note: I know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about the software this page...

Re: Autorun file does not execute the batch file

First, I can't get any autorun.inf to work from a flash drive on my Win XP machine either. I cannot immediately explain this, though I speculate that Microsoft may have turned off that function as a security measure in a some recent update. Second, as far as I know a autorun.inf file can ONLY run ex...

Re: Mittere - add apps and folders to the Send To menu

Yea, I'm digging this program... Thank you kindly. :) I noticed when an app is added, it's folder path is not added to the 'Start in:' field, as can be seen in the 'Properties' page. Some apps may require initialization from their own path. Thank you for pointing this out. I don't have much experie...
