Someone's garbage is another one's treasure. It may be counter-intuitive, but part of the success of this site has to do with the fact that there are fewer updates. A huge problem with the Internet is information overload and we as a site keep that under control. Again, who is to judge if it's garb...

There is nothing special about "installing" that you go through in typical installing processes. It's just copying files and making registry entries. With this one, you don't go through a typical installing process, but it's not so "stealth" either. This is Windows limitation. Things like virtual CD...

Also, there are leftovers in the registry. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Enum\Root\LEGACY_KPROCESSHACKER I don't think those go away unless you change the access rights and manually delete the entries.
