Re: Problem: Not enough donations

Old thread update: I've seen the results of small donations a few times over the years function as early votes of confidence that went on to big projects. An example one dev posted:

I received first-ever donation on my open-source side project and it felt great! - (gourav.io)

App and site are gone
Yeah 8 years is PLENTY of time for something (*anything*) to happen with that program. Anyway, it looks like it fell back to the private database so it's off the main site. Frustrating news for something with so much promise but a very good idea.

Re: AutoHotkey

Given that AutoHotkey hasn't seen much discussion in the past few years, I was under the impression this was a toolset that had either faded away or lost focus, but that doesn't appear to be the case at all. According to Softpedia , an alpha update was released just this month. Several introductory ...

Re: MediaPurge - audio library tools

Mediapurge searched through all of them and found similar files in a lot of them but, and although they might be real duplicates, I'm not so keen on getting a bunch of albums with tracks missing in my repository. So Mediapurge report is still valuable but only for long term analysis. Very interesti...

Office Search - non-indexing file search

Not a lot of configuration and very simple, this is search program will find search terms present in either the content or file name. As the name implies, works fine with Both MS Office and LibreOffice files, including XMind and Visio. Appears to be in active development. Status : Untested, appears ...

Re: Cannot install portable applications in Windows 10.

Thanks for replying. You are correct; it seems the issue was with permission. I found this on Google and tried the solutions. After I started the portable Audacity with admin privileges, I didn’t get the error. It seems my Windows 10 is configured to not start or install any application without adm...

So juverax noted in the entry that the download for this is offline, and I can confirm that. A few quick notes on this ...
