FileTypesMan
Another great portable utility from Nirsoft. They seems to come up with all kind of cool stuff. http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/file_types_manager.html FileTypesMan is an alternative to the 'File Types' tab in the 'Folder Options' of Windows. It displays the list of all file extensions and types regist...

Export files from directory tree?
I am looking for ANY program, portable or not, but must be free that can handle the following: I have downloaded a website with WinHTTrack. The directory structure of the downloaded website is fine, and I need to keep it. However, there are MANY files that I don't need for my purposes. Filtering by ...

I doubt it
I HIGHLY doubt that you will find anything like this, because in order to make an image file visible as a drive letter, any program MUST install itself in the IFS (Installable File System) chain, which means a driver that must be installed on the local system.

Phase 10 card game - network-capable
Not sure how many people have ever played the card game Phase 10 by Fundex. It is a rummy-style card game. Searching for a computer version of it, I came across this: phase10.sourceforge.net It is rather spartan, no help other than a readme file, and that does not explain the rules of the game, you ...

Sorry about that!
I have edited my post to reflect the true URL. Sorry about that, I am not used to the way that thihs forum software does the task of adding a hyperlink to a post. I am used to another forum software, maybe even another version of the same software, that pops up a box asking for title, hit enter, the...

Anyone know of a program launcher that can do this?
I am looking for a program launcher with a very specific purpose in mind. I am wanting to create a "games" USB stick, as I have managed to buy a few 128MB sticks for cheap. What I am wanting is the ability to load it, and be presented with a menu of all the games (or other apps) on the stick. This d...

TightVNC Gets My Vote!!!
I started using VNC before most of the derivative versions came out, when it was still the brainchild of Bell Labs (I think), and hosted on a URL that ended with .org.uk A little history lesson: VNC was made GPL (or a similar license) by Bells Labs. When the original programmers left, and rechristen...
