Re: TPFC Database

@tproli: if you are reading this, could you help me out here? @Andrew You don't need any approval from me to adjust the design :) Do whatever you think looks/works better. Especially that I'm very rarely onboard here. I like @Midas' suggestion in terms of readability but from the design POV I'm not...

Re: Lunacy

I'll also try a new version when I'll need some design stuff. However I'm considering buying Affinity Designer instead, that would suit not only my basic design needs.

Icons8 Lunacy [graphic editor]

I was trying out Lunacy yesterdays as a free alternative to the retired Adobe Fireworks, but unfortunately even if it would fit for me in almost every aspect, it's very buggy. Text handling is terrible, often I got editing another text object then the selected one, and hitting enter on text size inp...

Re: T-Clock

Somebody's watching me :)

I wanted to display the weekday next to the system clock but it's not possible if you also need small taskbar icons, that's how I found it. I haven't checked for portability though.

Re: DropIt

I needed to create a gallery with SVG files but DropIt perceived them as files, so all I got was download links instead images. I could trick DropIt by renaming the SVGs to PNGs, run the gallery action, then copy back SVGs to the "photos" and "thumbs" dirs. Finally edit index.htm...

Re: yaP - yet another Portablizer

Hi, sorry I can't test things atm so these answers are untested. 1. you'll need yapX64 if your target applicaton is x64 AND you can't access 64bit registry locations using a 32bit launcher, see eg. here . Normally 32bit yaP is OK. Otoh 64bit exe will be launched on a 64bit system only, otherwise fal...

Re: Power Plan switching using "Battery Mode Portable"

I contacted the developer and he fixed the language issue about a day later.

After that I requested a "more" portable version, hopefully he will consider that too.

Re: yaP - yet another Portablizer

yaP uses REG EXPORT internally and not REG SAVE. In case of DisplayFusion it seems that EXPORT cannot export data properly.

Re: yaP - yet another Portablizer

yaP is not tested with UNC paths and I suppose it doesn't play nice with them. If it's only one (or a few) files perhaps you could use yaP keywords to copy settings files back and forth.

Or run 3rd party apps on BEFORE/AFTER like this to handle UNC paths (that was the first I found via search).

Re: yaP - yet another Portablizer

Looks like you would need to use reg save instead reg export yaP is using. I'm not familiar with reg save/restore (and DOS in general) but here is a config with batch files that seem to work, though I can't test if Triggers are working. Note that this requires admin rights too. ; configuration file ...
