Re: Curious about apps that get removed

For some reason that is not working in Vista 32bit.

There's an option for exiting rbTray, when you right click on a trayed icon, and while that untrays that application, rbtray is still running in the background.

Re: Curious about apps that get removed

So...

Is there anyway to shut this program off aside from finding it in the task manager and killing the process? Don't seem very portable if you can't shut it off...

Re: Are IE-based web browsers portable?

Let's face it: IE _is_ part of the Windows OS Not entirely true. The korean version of windows for instance does not include Internet Explorer. Just a thought. As an aside, since Internet Explorer can be removed from windows as well, there may well be some computers which will be incapable of using...

Re: CAFE custom configs

One thing I'd like to see in this is a better run dialog. It shouldn't require me to click to get the program to run. And it should keep the setting to close the run dialog, if that's selected, until I change it somewhere. I'd also like to see the hotkeys user configurable, so that they don't confli...

I think what he was trying to offer was some way to get files that are offered for download only as a floppy disk image, which are sometimes difficult to find means of extracting. Not a virtual machine in which to run virtual os's. I'm not sure how having a floppy disk image larger than 2.88mb's wou...

I'm looking into seeing if a friend can add an alarm to Trayclock one of the apps on Tinyapps.org http://tinyapps.org/misc.html It sits in the systray as an analog clock, mouseover gives the date and time in digital. I'd like it to have a way to set an alarm to play a sound file in a program I speci...

unmht would be the firefox extension for reading and saving mht files.

One of the main reasons I like using firefox is that it has such diverse plugin support. Opera's sort of got something started, but there's not nearly as much development as with firefox.

Anyone out there figured out how to get this to work with Vista yet? Loved the program, just doesn't work with my new laptop, which is a major bummer.

ping instead

You might want to use the ping command to replace the wait command. If I remember right the Vista and XP command prompts do not support this command.

TurboCad LE

TurboCad LE is able to be portablalized either in sandboxie, or either the old portapotty system, or possibly JauntePE, as long as it's done on win2K or XP. for some reason it didn't like JauntePE on vista, possibly because of the os version check in JauntePE. sorry meant to be a reply to the cad qu...

netsh

I use a batch file with the 'netsh' command to set my network cards settings for multiple locations. netsh works a little differently depending on if you're on 2k xp or vista, and you'd have to have the name of the network connection that you'd want to change the settings of, but what I have is work...

some licenses specifically mention considering a single hard drive to be a 'computer' also I'm pretty sure that if it's only accessible from one computer at any given time, then it will be ok. I believe there's a stipulation in most licenses for networked software. You can install the software to on...
