Re: HiBitSoftware

This isn't fully portable: it creates entries in the registry (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HiBitSoftware) and in the AppData\Roaming folder (\HiBitSoftware).

(Yeah, I know: that's fairly easily fixed with yaP.)

Re: POP Peeper

Also, the version history page mentions for v5. 0: "Banner that can be used to convey important messages from Esumsoft". Furthermore, the POP Peeper Free: Banner page states: What is this banner? You may occasionally see a banner above the message list which provides a link to purchase POP Peeper Pr...

Re: POP Peeper

So user Pendrive is reporting that this program is adware. It's been in the database for a long time and is fairly popular so I tried to verify without success. Is anyone else using this one? Re: Ueli - Keystroke launcher

WTF?: the "portable" zip is 76.5 MB for what seems like a pretty slight program.

Re: [Falkon: formerly known as] QupZilla

I find the bracketing in this thread's title, [Falkon: formerly known as] QupZilla, rather bizarre: wouldn't Falkon (formerly known as QupZilla) be better?

Also, this thread's topic is duplicated as there exists the better titled Falkon (lightweight web browser; formerly Qupzilla).

Re: New site logo?

So our current (very good) logo was put together by tproli back in 2012 and I wanted to ask if it was time for a refresh. If everyone's perfectly happy with the current logo, we'll obviously stick with what we've got … There is, as yet, no established consensus that a change from the current logo i...
