Re: DropIt

@thebrieze Is there any way to convert the month to MonthLiteral in the output for %FirstFileContentDateNormalized%? I would like my output filename to be in the format "<OriginalFileName> - <MMM><YYYY>.<OriginalFileExtension>" Also is there a way to suppress the "unknown file content" substitution,...

Re: DropIt

@mgerity Welcome! Having a first look on your question, that seems to be quite easy :D I am trying to get DropIt to recognize two more date formats: MM/DD/YYYY and MM/DD/YY. ... I added |%DAY% *\/ *%MONTH_NUMERIC% *\/ *%YEAR% I tried that with the example 05/20/18, and could not get it to work. Havi...

Re: DropIt

@officeworks I would like to monitor a folder and send the files from that folder as email. During that process, the TO-address would be %FileName%@myfax.xxx Somehow, that does not work. Are the variable forbidden in mail addresses? You are right. At the moment the variables are not supported in the...

Re: DropIt

@vklaffehn this regex (This).*(a) gives 'This' in FileContentMatch1 and 'a' in FileContentMatch2. but after adding a newline behind 'a' this (This)((.|\n)*)(test) or (This).*\n*.*(test) does not work anymore, even it IS working on regex101.com What am I doing wrong? Regarding RegEx, I ALWAYS tend to...

Re: DropIt

@Hitman, @Topazy

Is the issue on running under Win 10 persisting? I am running Win 10 Home 64bit without issues. Maybe some update issue (had this earlier also with commercial products).

Otherwise you might try to install DropIt again (remove also configuration files).

Hope this helps...

Re: DropIt

@Tomek: Thanks for using DropIt. Your request can easily be realized. Therefore customizing the abbreviations is needed (see http://www.dropitproject.com/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=howto:customize_abbreviations ). Especially the somewhat new "regex" customization is very powerful. Basically you want every...

Re: DropIt

Hi KilliK,

basically DropIt should support unicode already. Could you give us some examples, which files are not working, so that we are able to test it?

You may also feel free to directly post it to our bugs section: https://sourceforge.net/p/dropit/bugs/

Best regards

Re: %FileContentMatch1%

Hi Bernd, thanks for your interest in DropIt. Is there any documentation for the %FileContentMatch1% parameter? I don't understand how it works. I am not sure if Lupo wrote something detailed in the documentation. I found just the hint there: http://www.dropitproject.com/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=howto:c...

Re: DropIt

@agome049 Basically we are working on a event based mechanism to process file. This shall be available in a 9.x version. As my time is very limited at the moment, I can not tell you, when it will be available. You may have a look at closing the feature request https://sourceforge.net/p/dropit/featur...

@adrianvas12

Sorry for the late answer. I somehow did not receive the info about a new post...

Anyway, regarding your question: For me this works fine with your setting. Could you probably post your settings.ini and profile .ini?

Re: DropIt

Hi chyron8472, thanks for your message. I was able to reproduce this fault behaviour and I add it to the bugs section at sourceforge. Anyway: To come over this issue you could configure a Copy action instead of the Move action. This will then add the SpecOps folder beneath the Columbus Day. This sho...
