Re: Snap MD5 - Simple MD5 Comparison Utility
You're welcome. Unicode support has been on my todo list but I'd never gotten around to researching it. Your comment spurred me to action.

Thanks for the suggestion. Unicode support is now in the newly released version (v0.3) as of today.

Re: SnapTimer - countdown timer
Thanks.
That's correct. The binary alone is 1.53MB if size is an issue and you don't want sound notification. You can also add more wav files if you want.

SnapTimer - countdown timer
I released SnapTimer today. It uses relative paths, comes with 20+ wav files for audio notifications, which can be looped. It can also launch an app, display a tray icon notification or a message box when the time is up. It can be always on top, minimized to tray and automatically restart when the t...

Re: Snap MD5 - Simple MD5 Comparison Utility
No problem. I had wanted to add it but I didn't know how and no amount of Googling helped. I finally asked Giorgio Tani, developer of Peazip, which has drag and drop support and uses the same dev environment. His response was all it took.
If anyone has any other feature requests, let me know.

Wow, talk about fast service. Thanks!
Is there a way to update the screenshot? The new version looks a little different.

Re: Snap MD5 - Simple MD5 Comparison Utility
I've added drag and drop as well as a few more features, but I don't see a way to update the entry.
Is that something I can do?

Re: Snap MD5 - Simple MD5 Comparison Utility
I had intended to implement drag and drop, but from the research I did it's non-trivial.
I wrote it in Free Pascal using Lazarus. DnD support within the app is doable, but cross-application seems problematic.

Re: Snap MD5 - Simple MD5 Comparison Utility
Ah, I'd forgotten I could add it to the database. I'll do so, and yes, I'm willing to take feature requests, as long as they aren't too involved. I want to keep it simple

Snap MD5 - Simple MD5 Comparison Utility
I wrote this utility to make it easy to compare MD5 sums when the MD5 sum is already in the clipboard. Once the file is downloaded you run it (I use Free Commander with a shortcut) and can immediately see if the download is good. I called the utility Snap MD5 and it's completely portable as it doesn...
