Re: yaP - yet another Portablizer
It's detected by 22 out of 66 in virustotal.com. This is very bad score. Is there any way you can fix this?

Questions on 64-bit yaP
Does the yapX64.exe used for 64-bit apps or for 32-bit apps in 64-bit OS? I mean is it for 64-bit apps or for 64-bit OS? I rename yap.exe to something like MyApp-yap.exe and the same with ini MyApp-yap.ini . Can I also rename yapX64.exe to Anything.exe along with the corresponding ini? If I click y...

Re: yaP - yet another Portablizer
Can't thank you enough for making yaP and sharing it. I have one question. If I use -regkey = HKCU\Software\ABC :: ifempty it will check if there are any value directly in HKCU\Software\ABC . But, if there is another key inside ABC e.g. HKCU\Software\ABC\XYZ , and HKCU\Software\ABC is empty; it stil...

Re: Text Editor Performance Tests
I tried EmEditor and it was very fast. It has a free version. You should test it. And what about Notepad++?

Re: Registry Finder
In my case(8.1 core 64-bit), the "UnsentCrashReports" folder was created inside the main app folder, not in "\AppData\Local\CrashRpt".

Re: Firefox Portable
I use the portableapps version and it creates Mozilla folders both at Local and Roaming folder of AppData. So, how can it be stealth as mentioned in the main database entry?

Re: Notepad++ (text editor)
The app page says it's not stealth. I found in the comments that, you need a blank "doLocalConf.xml" file to make it stealth. I downloaded the latest version 6.4.8 and they have included that blank file inside the zip. So, I think it's stealth now. Can anybody check and confirm this?

If this is not stealth, what are the changes made? And this information along with whether stealth are not in the application description. Also the uncompressed size is around 19MB now.

Re: Are all WinPenPack applications stealth?
If you can report to us the apps you find slow and the antivirus engine, it will definitely help us troubleshoot the issue and make the decision to ditch compression altogether. Thank you for the information. I didn't know about the compression thing. For me vlc is very slow. It takes about twice t...

Re: Are all WinPenPack applications stealth?
I mean apps like X-firefox, X-videolan etc.. I've msg'd the WPP spokesperson about this but here's my understanding: They're certainly not "pure" stealth in the sense that they prevent programs from writing to the machine. Instead, they are wrapper programs that (as I understanding it) t...
