Re: Nik Collection (image processing plugins)

Found a good use for it recently with some noisy lower-light photos. The Dfine 2 noise reduction is superb and allows for both automatic noise pattern detection and manual control points with individual settings, higher quality than other noise reduction filters I've used. Also as a follow up the in...

AFAIK, our install steps are still valid, and the main reason why we recommend extracting the installer is that doing so avoids running it.
Well that was quick, thanks. So both are valid.

Re: Vivaldi - Opera Browser Alternative

Are the portable install steps still valid, or have they been superseded by these steps on the official site for the 'standalone' install?

Re: WinHash

Quite the healthy selection of hashing programs we've been introduced to recently :) I'm curious, do you use a particular program to generate the name/timestamp/hashes at the ends of your submissions? As they seem like they conform to a template and wondered if you'd managed to find one that could o...

Re: Xinorbis - powerful hard disk analyser

Taking a look at the Screenshots section appears all the full-size images are 404'ing, though the thumbnails give enough of an impression I suppose.

Cute license type name :)

How many user programs still around can say they even go back even further than that :) Judging by the source archive's date the last version is from 2013.

Re: Orzeszek Programs

Thanks to billion for updating the release date and removing the unnecessary installer version changelog note of Hourglass. Slipped by me when updating the entry to the latest version, was a bit tired. Have a whole directory of shortcuts for custom preset Hourglass timers that draw from daily, conti...

Re: Nik Collection - commercial again

Nik Collection has been sold and is no longer free: The last free version ( 1.2.11 ) can still be downloaded from Google, direct download links. Good catch. I'm not one who needs it currently but downloading backup copies all the same. If they're not digitally signed I'll post the checksum hashes o...

Re: Indentation in BBCODE

Thanks, Andrew! @Andrew Colour me dense, but... I still see TWO stacked (albeit dissimilar) quotes symbols, ...when a single one would be perfectly adequate...deferring to __phil's "least resource expenditure" principle...;-) This is due to the browser loading the old stylesheet from the cache. Chec...

Re: Hydrogen drum machine

Wow, this is a blast from the past. I think I tested 0.9.x back on XP years ago when playing around with sequencers. Looking at the Files section it resumed development more in 2016 to the present which is nice to see.

Re: Indentation in BBCODE

So I'm having some trouble with site update in regards to BBCODE's new indent system For some reason the indent on this site just inserts some span element with whitespace characters (on one line) rather than wrapping the block of text in an element that could be then styled to have a whole left-si...

Inviska Rename is online but the forum is offline- the developer has explained why. I hope his health will get better.
That sounds terrible  Do hope he recovers fully.

Re: Otter 0.9.99 RC 9

I was forced to downvote the database entry because of the new disgusting icon set. If they insist on delivering only the current obnoxious icon set without and option to switch back to the previous icon set (Oxygen icon set is not nice but tolerable) I will dump Otter for good. More about the new ...

Looks like there's an addon that similarly modifies the tab appearance, for those that prefer it.
