Re: Quick Access Popup
Hi all, I understand your points. I did not want to disguise anything and has been pretty blunt on this in my message to the admin Andrew. Another thing to consider regarding the portability of the app is that, although the new release will not write anything on the host computer, it requires a uniq...

Re: Quick Access Popup
If one could update Quick Access Popup page (https://www.portablefreeware.com/?id=2765&ts=1483513088). The following section should now read: How to extract: Download the ZIP package and extract to a folder of your choice. Re: Simple video editor for simple task
Also, as I wasn't sure if you'd be comfortable with the CLI solution initially I set the options to transcode any audio into AAC, to make sure the audio regardless of format gets converted. However if you know the source will always be either AAC or MP3 specifically you can copy the audio without tr...

Re: Simple video editor for simple task
@Specular: ffmpeg does the job very well. Much slower than Movie Maker, however. But the possibility to make it run in batch is very interesting. I have about 50 one-hour audio content to convert. Thanks again. @3K3: I could not find in the doc which switches would take a JPG file and convert it to ...

Re: Simple video editor for simple task
@shnbwmn: Thanks for the info. I'll give it a try.
@Specular: I like the command line approach. Easy to automate. For those interested, the ffmpeg doc is here: https://ffmpeg.org/ffmpeg.html

Re: Simple video editor for simple task
The installer can be extracted with UniExtract , thus avoiding any and all junkware. It saves its settings to super.ini in the program directory (hidden after first run). This still applies to the latest SUPER version. Thanks for the tip. Just to be sure, what file is the installer? SUPER.exe? C:\U...

Re: Simple video editor for simple task
I tried... PhotoFilmStripv2.1.0: interesting but the video formats choice is limited and resolution size cannot be customized. Also, export time is very long (I have one-hour content to render). Freemaker Video Converter: junkware pushed with installer (strike one), branding at beginning and end of ...

Re: Simple video editor for simple task
After posting this message, I gave a try to Microsoft Movie Maker. Not a bad solution for this simple task. 1) You import the the image 2) Then import the audio file and copy its duration to the clipboard 3) Return to the image to set its duration to the audio's duration I saved the result using low...

Simple video editor for simple task
Hi, I'm looking for the simplest solution to produce a video from an audio file and an image. The goal is to put a fix image on an audio content and to upload the video file to a streaming platform like YouTube. Doing this simple task with Adobe Premiere requires much work and I wonder if a simpler ...

Re: CSV Buddy - A Swiss knife for CSV files
I'd recommend Apache 2.0 or LGPL as both check off on these points, but I'm sure there are other licenses that would work just as well. I took your advice and changed to the Apache licence that includes more or less what I wanted to say in better (and less) words. I should do the same for Quick Acc...

Re: CSV Buddy - A Swiss knife for CSV files
Were you looking for feedback on this program? Of course, I do. This being said, CSV Buddy is not my main project at this time and I have time only for relatively small improvements. Eventually, with the experience I gained over the last two years working with the AHK scripting language, I would co...
