Re: sqlite-gui - smallest GUI for SQLite

Welcome little-brother and thank you for sharing your app. Seems to work pretty well and it's fast. :)

Zim is more reliable for me. I might try the XML saving option instead of the SQLite option and see if that makes any differe...

Works pretty well. Previously I was using RBTray, but that doesn't work with all windows.

Re: CherryTree - hierarchical note taking app

I find it's far better to use the native portable version than the Portable Apps version. 1. Portable Apps stores the config in 'AppData\local\cherrytree'. The folder disappears on close. 2. The native portable version uses a 'config.cfg' file in the root, nothing gets added to appData 3. The portab...

Re: is there a file manager that let me tag files and folder ?

Free Commander lets you create 'file containers'. So, you can add files/folders to a container and then move/copy them somewhere else.

Re: Signal - cross-platform secure messaging (64-bit only)

Telegram is pretty slick, both with the portable version and the mobile version. Being able to add multiple accounts in the same interface is terrific. Signal is fine though, we use it a lot here in Hong Kong. They've ironed out a few bugs in the last few weeks and it seems more reliable now. Going ...

Re: Markdown Monster Portable

Not quite portable. Creates an empty directory at:
AppData/Roaming/Markdown Monster/

Nice software, but too much of a mess.

Note that if you are using the 64bit version, you need to create the empty file as scandir64.ini, not scandir.ini.
