Re: Safe password generation

A friend of mine had the password 12345. When I asked her why, she said: "It`s so simple, no-one would ever think of it" That is the mentality of some people who use computers. They really are clueless about security. That said, websites don`t do enough to force secure passwords. Of course if people...

Great news. After updating so many entries over the years for projects I expect are abandoned, it's nice to see that at least one project was just dormant.
Agree. Have been using this for years with no issues. It`s been fantastic software.

Re: EmEditor Free

I used to use EmEditor years ago, I even got the paid version. The problem with it is it truncates the paths in the recent files list. Did they make this optional? I contacted the developer several times years ago, but it never got changed so in the end I dumped the software. It`s a problem for me b...

There`s a new version of GifCam out. v5.5

Re: OooPlayer - Development and Beta versions

Firstly, very nice player, thank you. :) A couple of issues for me: 1. There is no sound at all. No problems with all other players on my comp, but this one no sound at all and I`m not sure why? 2. If I add a folder of MP3 files it adds the files ok, but if I use the option to add a file, the interf...

Looks to be a few useful utilities here, not sure if they have been mentioned already?

Thanks tactictoe. I think for now I`ll leave it as is and see if it disappears in the next update.

Re: Find and RePlace Files - Not Text

Can`t you do it with Advanced Renamer? I use that all the time to batch rename files.

Or did you need the original file to stay and a new one created alongside it?

Re: Google to stop supporting....Firefox 44??

Clearing all the YouTube cookies made no difference, message still appears.

If I use the 'YouTube ALL HTML5' add on, and use 'Force HTML5' instead of 'Emulate IE', it disappears.
