Re: MP3 Quality Modifier Settings
In the comments for this app CornFlower found a link from web.archive.org to what appears to be a valid download. I found the page but I didn't test the download, it's less than a MB -> https://www.portablefreeware.com/index. ... mment31265

Re: youtube-dl - multi-site media/video downloader
ytdlc has been updated to version 2020.10.31 - if you can find your way to the \releases page, if not videohelp has the latest too. just some fyi from a review on videohelp, can't confirm or deny :) - ytdlc 64-bit won't run on win7 due to the python 3.9 requirement which requires win8.1 and above. y...

Re: youtube-dl - multi-site media/video downloader
Hi TP109, thanks for the info :) Youtube-dlc is almost exactly like youtube-dl, with only a couple of extra command options. Syntax is the same except the need to use youtube-dlc instead of youtube-dl. I'm using the same batch file by replacing youtube-dl with youtube-dlc and it works. l only tried ...

Re: youtube-dl - multi-site media/video downloader
For those who have used yt-dlc, how do you like it, and is yt-dlc as feature-rich as yt-dl, site support etc...? Can yt-dl.exe & yt-dlc.exe co-exist in the same folder... can yt-dlc.exe find/use ffmpeg.exe & ffprobe.exe the same way yt-dl.exe does, easily if all files are in same folder...? Does Pyt...

Re: Media Player Classic Black Edition
The changelog file should be in the app directory... here's the changes for the x64 .7z version and I assume it will be the same for the other downloads. 1.5.3 ============================= ShoutcastSource Added support for metadata written in json format. Oggsplitter Improved chapter support. Fixed...

Re: Firefox Portable
The fix, at least for now, appears to be... For those with the dev, nightly builds, etc is the xpinstall signatures required set to false tweak. The rest of us need to re-enable telemetry and studies, close then open Firefox. I'm using the policies file so I had to set telemetry and studies disabled...

Re: EMDB - Eric's Movie Database
I like this app alot, it's fun and works pretty good. I discovered by accident that since the last few program updates, maybe around 337 or so, when starting up the app after an update it creates a backup.dat file in C:\Windows - a dialog does popup to alert you but I thought it was the file that us...

It appears ExeInfoPE's home has changed again... in case it was missed. New: http://www.exeinfo.xn.pl/ Old: http://exeinfo.pe.hu/ Strange, though, the old site states there's 2 weeks left, and as of this post it still states 2 weeks... I don't see a date the message was posted but I was there maybe ...

Re: Hashing
It looks like a great tool, but I've been steering away from the .NET tools, atleast the tools that require anything above .Net 4.0.

... following your link, it works for me, using Firefox 58.0.2 x64, time 9:16 PM Pacific. I also followed Enocode's link to the forum - http://encode.ru/ - works. For what it's worth, ran the link thru VirusTotal just to see if anything came up - looks OK - https://www.virustotal.com/#/url/d410473b0...

Not sure about v3 but v228... Setting F11 as the fullscreen global hotkey works for me, and works with or without the menu present. The toggle fullscreen video... button is a one click affair as well and will hide the controls after a few moments. Move the mouse and the controls reappear to toggle t...

Re: Why does this site constantly log me out?
I'm not sure what's going, this is new for me... I log in and the moment I leave the login page, head to the forums or to post a comment on VLC at TPFC's main page I'm logged out... so I click login again and it starts all over. If there's a different login for posting comments on apps now, sorry, I...

Sorry for getting back late, had some non internet related things to deal with... I'll see if I can upload both separately here, together the file size is too big. Bummer, file size is still too big, 1mb max allowed. 64-bit = 1.19mb // 32-bit = 1.04mb, this is 7zed @ultra settings. It looks like som...
