Re: Best of Gizmo's Freeware: The Portable Apps List

Working link is now https://www.techsupportalert.com/the-be ... d-to-have/.

Sadly, the site now looks like any other non-descript content farm... :|

Mod note: moved from "Portable Freeware Development" to "Resources & Links".

Re: OpenTTD - Transport Tycoon Deluxe game

OpenTTD v14.0 released 2024-04-13 (version changes at https://cdn.openttd.org/openttd-releases/14.0/changelog.txt ). OpenTTD 's first release was in March of 2004. Re: Abykus SE - spreadsheet

Thanks for that, Stephen Leibowitz . 8) When creating the chm file, I added a contents panel and made other improvements. I have also put these things in a hlp version. The improved hlp is a drop-in replacement for the original hlp file, and can be called from the Abykus program. Could there be a wa...

Re: Linkbar

@Llewelyn: yep, I eventually got there, too (see the code box above)... Thanks. 8)

Re: Linkbar

Great. 8) Alas, not entirely stealth -- without the " -f " command line parameter, bars are saved to ' %APPDATA%\Linkbar\ '. It also doesn't seem to pick up folders to display their content. Its memory footprint is about 10MB for one Linkbar . I make do with Windows 10 default taskbar tool...
