Re: FoxMail

Great!Thanks a lot!
That's very helpful!
Can you post the launcher as it is now?
[the potential "phoning home" is fixed by adding ip's to the hosts file?]

PS. If it works with a launcher, how will you set it as a default mail client?[to my knowledge, it cannot be done]

Re: FoxMail

I gave this a go. I have to say i am very impressed. Just a couple of things i noticed : -There is no spell checker [or a way to add spell check for other languages] -There is a comment @ Softpedia that Foxmail tries to contact 3rd party IP Addresses. If it weren't for these issues, i would have rep...

Re: New search options added for login users

It might be the wrong section/topic to post this, but a search for "everything" (the app) returns no results [as i found out today]

Re: New designs for TPFC by tproli

I'll vote for the first one, too. The category solution proposed is very nice. I like the style separation too, though it might be better to have the same style for all categories How about having simpler icons for the new/updated apps? We could use the space where the info is displayed to show the ...

HWA is not very stable in this build, it's better to have it turned off

Re: Is Opera 12 standard portable or not ?

Another positive article for opera :)
Let's see if the new version, combined with the recent facebook rumors, boost opera's userbase

PS. That -pd command was very useful. Thanks, guinness

But the information displayed are not right :
- It runs under GNU/Linux 32/64 bit too (GTK2)
- It needs a Windows version >= XP (even Windows 8 )
I've updated the entry to reflect that.

Re: Is Opera 12 standard portable or not ?

Ah, I didn't put two and two together. Maybe it's Opera's way of being humorous and keeping everyone on their toes. :D I'd like to think that , too 8) On the other side, http://blog.gsmarena.com/opera-to-cost-facebook-north-of-a-billion-dollars-analysts-say/ Because of various rumors on the matter,...

Re: Is Opera 12 standard portable or not ?

I can't see why facebook would be interested to enter the browser market in the first place. They are already gaining billions. How would they benefit by providing their own browser [and thus having to compete against google, mozilla, opera etc]? In case this turns out to be true though, count me *out...
