Re: AutoIt Portable
Just a few days short of a decade later, AutoIt is an almost portable software. The only non portable leftover is this issue . But alas, any attempt to solve it gets the developer very angry, to the level of almost cursing me. I think the main problem is no one in the world but me shows support for ...

Re: AutoRun LWMenu
It's probably because you have spaces in your folders and files, so added support for it, plus the ability to pass multiple parameters (although it's not relevant to this specific use case). Also added a new feature admin=1 to be able to launch programs an admin (showed it on the default's menu CMD ...

Re: AutoRun LWMenu
Nevertheless, I've made a beta attempt at it, care to try? Folders should now pass to launched programs just like any other association (plus you can use -ini= to choose an alternate folder to grab autorun.inf from).

Re: AutoRun LWMenu
I guess this means everything else is well? Do you mean you ask to be able to associate/pass folders and not just files? Correct me if I'm wrong, but yaP doesn't support opening an alternate INI file through a command line parameter, right? For example, running c:\test\launcher.com c:\something : In...

Re: Any way to Hide the command console?
My AutoRun LWMenu can do it with show=hidden , for example: [CUSTOM CD MENU] hidetrayicon=1 ; if you want neither console nor launcher icon skiptobutton=1 ; if you don't want a menu [BUTTON1] buttontext=CMD ;or whatever you want relativepathandfilename=something.bat ; or even just cmd , but then bet...

Re: AutoRun LWMenu
Wow, thanks, re-uploaded, is it okay now?
It seems I've originally uploaded like 2 minutes before the new compilation was over. Well, at least the link remains the same.

Re: VLC - media player
I've tried both vlc-3.0.20-win64.zip and vlc-3.0.20-win64.7z, and I don't see any such problem there. Both the EXE and Help=>About correctly show 3.0.20.

Re: AutoRun LWMenu
In that case, finally released the new version, and while at it also added a feature of focusbutton=X (or /focusbutton=X via the command line) so the menu will focus on button X instead of the first button.

Re: AutoRun LWMenu
No, inf files already had the ability to have: [CUSTOM CD MENU] skiptobutton=X The new feature is that your launcher's shortcut can now run launcher.exe /skiptobutton=X (or launcher.exe /skiptobutton=X "path-to-folder-with-INF" ) which will be used even if the INF has something else. So im...

Re: AutoRun LWMenu
That's cool. Fantastic. :D Thanks! In that case, I've released a couple of other features, if you like to check the latest beta . The first feature I'm not sure you can check since it seems you're always admin anyway. It lets you relaunch admin-only buttons as admin, if you tried to click them not ...

Re: AutoRun LWMenu
Well, I know you've asked it for in the past too, but I've never claimed it was supported.
Turns out files have built-in support for it, while folders don't, so I've added special support for wildcards.
Can you try it in the latest beta?

You may not be able to test specifically the net access part, but I've added lots of other stuff too, if you like to make sure they work properly in the latest beta.

Re: AutoRun LWMenu
So how do we proceed? What you're asking for sounds more like Sandboxie as opposed to a launcher. Not to mention such softwares are more like drivers than softwares, which also requires paying for a Windows certification (in Sandboxie it became possible due to donations), but it any case it's not re...
