Not sure, why do you need emulator?
Android works fine on many x86 computers.
You can boot directly from iso or install on USB or harddrive with filesystem ext4/ext3/ext2/ntfs/fat32.

Most emulators will not work or too slow - use Grub4dos to boot in real machine!
Android-x86 4.4-R* is portable & supports read-write mode on ntfs/vfat with persistent 2Gb max.

I think, back 2008 you wont find suitable tools to make P2V. Now a day it is possible to create not only P2V, V2P and also booting virtual directly to real machine just using freeware tools like virtualbox, disk2vhd, grub4dos, IMG_XP_80.exe. It works at least for me to create like portable nlited xp...
