Re: AdwCleaner
I strongly suggest creating your own new entry. Private entries are meant to be hidden until voted public, so there's no real need to "reuse" an existing one, especially if there are existing comments that may not be relevant. Let the best entry be voted public!

@Llewelyn: Congrats! I did vote for some of your entries, including MKVToolnix this time. This tool has been in my collection for the longest time, I didn't even realize it's not in the database!

Re: RQ Money [was "Personal Finance Manager"]
@Llewelyn: Previously in database, but demoted to private entry due to becoming donationware.
Do you know if the 2000 transaction limit has been removed in this new version? Thanks!
PS: BTW, the limit is still mentioned in the user guide (search for "donation").

How do i edit an existing entry in the db? You need to have attained a rank score of at least 1. How do you get your rank score? This is covered under this FAQ : Each member has a "rank". The rank for a new member is initially 0. Each 50 messages posted to the forum, or two applications a...

Re: Linkbar
When starting Linkbar, the following dialog appears... Yes, that dialog can be downright confusing when you're striving for portability. :| So by default, relative path is not used, which means if I try to run it on a different PC and the drive letter of my memory stick is not longer x , the progra...

Re: Linkbar
Create a subfolder inside application folder (where it will store the shortcuts of the linkbar you' ll create) and browse for that I see.. that threw me off a bit. So here's my take on portability. For the "All users" case, any linkbar that you create will result in a corresponding {GUID}...

Added to the database: https://www.portablefreeware.com/?id=3104 Please vote! As far as I can remember, this is the first Java app I have encountered that doesn't "feel" like one. Starts fast on my old laptop and runs smoothly. The whole she-bang is >250MB on disk, so it might not be every...

Re: Photo Magic AI
Don't think the system requirement was specified on the website, but when I tried to run it, I found out it is dependent on the Vulkan API, which means if you need to be running a newish GPU in order to use this program.

Re: Upscayl (Graphic Resolution)
Vulkan compatible GPU required.
There is a workaround to use CPU only under Windows and Linux, but I bet this will make the processing intolerably lengthy.
