Re: Is Opera 12 standard portable or not ?
4. Therefore, people who use installed software are more intelligent than people who use default software (statistically) Makes sense, but that still wouldn't explain the difference between e.g. Firefox (slightly above average intelligence), a presumably installed software, and Opera (exceptionally...

Does anyone else get this problem:
After updating to the most recent PortableApps Foxit Reader version I can only open 2 pdf files simultaneously. After that I get a PortableApps.com Launcher error message.

Revo Uninstaller
Has anyone noticed this:
It seems that Revo Uninstaller (best uninstaller in my view) is not compatible with x64 Windows. It doesn't identify 64-bit software. Also, after I ran Revo the first time on Windows 7, all the software installation dates changed to 01.01.1601.

Download link for x64 software versions
I'd like to propose the following suggestion: If there are direct software download links on PFC, then there should be an additional link if there are separate x64 versions available. Many of us have now migrated to Windows 7 (mostly by default) and that tends to be x64. A good example are the Nirso...

Re: foxit reader 4 problems
The installer is less than 4MB but the pdfreader.exe + application files is well over 10MB. You're right, but altogether it's about the same size as Foxit. Pitty the freeware bversion doesn't allow for saving. But you can get around this. When you make changes to a pdf you can't save them, but you ...

Re: foxit reader 4 problems
Here's another nimble PDF Reader (less than 4MB as downloaded for the freeware version). It is portable if you extract the files. It does have some nice added features as shown in this review.

Systems monitor software
Does anyone know of software, preferably portable, that monitors your system and sends out an alert via SMS or email when a particular file gets activated.
