DMG Files
I'm wondering if anyone knows of a freeware / open source preferably portable app for the Windows environment that can build Mac .dmg files. Peazip can take them apart but that's all. There is a great portable open source project for Mac's at http://www.freesmug.org/ . It's just the germ of an idea ...

I can't find any way to provide feedback to the developer at hero.com.au so I will try here. It's a great program but the text goes wacky when the window is resized. Bits and pieces of the screen text appear in the expanded area. I cannot find a refresh so something else must selected and then come ...

I don't know what =D means, probably duh. I'm glad for the education in spite of the emarrassment shifting to me. I thought a poll would stay at the top of the thread. I didn't know it's part of the post. Queue you did not mention C++, just settings. Am I also mistaken about that. His readme called ...

I feel moved to say something here. While I don't think this app belongs here since it requires the installation of Visual C++, the treatment seems a bit rough. He has been civil and polite even when his work is called crap and he is trying to adjust and learn. It is clear that he does not quite get...

[NSIS].nsi
I have seen instructions here that frequently say to delete [NSIS].nsi but I have yet to see a file with that name. I have tried unhiding protected system files but still nothing. I'm sure I'm missing something so if someone would enlighten me it would be wonderful. Thanks.

If someone lends me their truck for some hauling then, at a minimum, I will return it in same condition as I found it. Usually, for me at least, clean and with a full tank of gas. I takes less than 10 minutes to go through a car wash. My point is that I do those things out of courtesy. They are poli...

I am no expert but I offer my observations taken after a great deal of testing. In general, larger drives are slower. The best evidence for this is the fact that Hwang's Law failed this year after holding for eight years straight. The reason it failed is the growing gulf between capacity and speed. ...

I also think this launcher has potential. In particular because it is the most advanced launcher I have seen that runs in Wine and Darwine in Linux and on a Mac. So far Qsel has been the best I could find. Unfortunately it has a show-stopping flaw. It will not retain the program icons when it is mov...
