Re: Qemu Simple Boot

qemu and virtualbox still has way to evolve to compete with vmware. I'm sure about it as I try always last compiled version but not sure about last xen and virtual pc (not 2007 or earlier). this must influence even in the boot process...

Re: Filter filetypes from compression

Well, I was trying to reproduce what you mention to solve in PeaZip which is the one I most use along with 7-zip and it seems like it has a checkbox for advanced filters which you have to check/uncheck to configure. I was trying to figure out how it works but after taking a look at PeaZip documentat...

Filter filetypes from compression

I need a program to do as short described in this title. I want to compress a lot of folders and the problem is that such folders contains filetypes that I don't want to compress(to not waste resources or worse) mostly: .jpg, .png, .avi and .mp3. Because I only want to compress the text-like files o...

Re: Listen N Write

I find kind of boring creating subtitles. You always have to analyse it for a long time to fit the relative time period of the verses you need and also you will find that when you have more than one voice it turns to be harder(although is mostly unlikely this case). The only free tool I really reall...

Re: PortableApps Platform as updater-only

@JohnTHaller

That's why I see that updates of launchers are becoming even less frequent? I was freaking willing to see the updated launcher of VirtualBox 4.1.8 (the german developer) and yours DVDStyler 2.1+ but seems that most of the launchers nowadays incorporate such auto-updaters...

Re: Process Hacker gettingTo substitute allNirsoft mainOS to

Process Hacker is the best task manager around in my opinion. System Explorer is also a good one but fails us to give important information that only Process Hacker give us. I don't know how much the Process Hacker driver is portable but looks like no difficult problem and at least when talking abou...

Re: The E-PARASITE Act

Man, I am too furious not about it but about the roughness of it, and I was going to say a long explanation of how this could be still very fair in one hand (if it was at least descent).

If someone wants to start a chit-chat about it I would be very happy to say :wink: =P.

Re: Migrating an existing installation of WinXP to another H

YES! :D, I had complete success in copying the contents from the old HD to the new one. I will type now the steps I took that led me to this victory. Download Clonezilla and Parted Magic ISO and burn the 2 CDs Connect your new HD disk (cut the shitty rollerman cables) together with the old one and b...

Re: Migrating an existing installation of WinXP to another H

Hehehe :P, I thought m^(2) would provide me the answer. Anyways, what SYSTEM tryed to say pointing me this link I can try w/o much loss of patience. I just need to after the cloning remove the old HD and try the new HD alone. It is not a hard deal :mrgreen: .
