Re: AutoClipX - license discussion
What a difference a year makes, apparently. no different than many other developers i suspect - i went through allot of trial and error until i found out what works and what doesn't - i would have liked very much to leave it as freeware, but that didn't work out, at least not with the methods i exp...

Re: AutoClipX - license discussion
i said the installer did not download anything unless the user chose to install the 3rd party software. that was an error on my part - i knew there was an executable downloaded, but i forgot that it was downloaded regardless. i knew what was going on, but i wrote to Install Monetizer just to confirm...

Re: AutoClipX
... but if I don't pay for software why would I think the 'average Joe' could. who is paying for software? that was the whole point in my changing to a freeware license and finding another way to monetize Are you sure the installer doesn't download anything? Because disabling the network error prod...

Re: AutoClipX
if the user chooses not to install the 3rd party software, the installer downloads nothing, so i'm not sure how can it be considered adware/nagware when a) there's no 3rd party software in the installer, b) there are no ads, and c) they don't choose to install it? i also don't think 2 buttons labele...

Re: AutoClipX
an update to a very old topic... i went pretty much full circle with AutoClipX; from freeware, to nagware, to shareware, back to freeware. the latest version (2.1.1.0) fixes several bugs and introduces some new features, but most important was my decision to revert back to freeware. i am including t...

Re: AutoClip Mini
thanks web a couple of *nix people emailed me telling they missed this functionality in windows - it's built in to linux by default, though i don't know what the capabilities are AutoClipX has become pretty powerful for a simple auto-copy app, so i thought i'd cut everything unnecessary out of it, c...

Re: A Note Regarding 12Bytes Software
when i was accepting donations i think i made it pretty clear - i would display a donate link on the GUI and/or tray menu if there is one. also had a donate page on the website. i'm looking into AdSense now - if i can get that up and running to my satisfaction and it works well enough, i'll GLADLY r...
