Re: Search and delete
I guess quite a few will see me as a pedant but it really irritates me! I wish my life was that simple that I could get annoyed by program names  ... so tactictoe allow me to be the first to say thank you for your efforts and posting it up here for everyone. It's one of those tools most peop...

Re: Stinger
In my opinion Stinger should be removed from the database immediately since now it is a serious threat itself. I'm not certain it poses a serious threat , but the clandestine installation of a resilient service in the background is hardly what you'd expect from a tool like this. Have also down-vote...

Re: Monoff4 1.6
I was unaware the dropbox link went down. No idea why, the file is still hosted there.
All it would have taken is a quick PM to let me know and it would have been sorted same day. I don't tend to check the forums as frequently as some.

Re: PCI-Z, detect unknown PCI devices
Now THAT is how to submit your own program on a forum.
Thanks for posting Bruno. Sounds useful.

Hopefully it's a bug and will be resolved. If not, version 1.6 can still be obtained from here.

Re: Contacam
I've been testing this for a week or so continuous use, using an old webcam and my server. The program works really well and has a load of features. As a package I'm really impressed with it. The only problem I encountered is that occasionally the program would forget it's settings, even though they...

Re: Contacam
This is a fantastic piece of software. Feature rich, low impact on system resources and well thought through. If I had a regular use for it I'd be more than happy donating a reasonable sum of money to the author. It's better than a lot of commercial products doing the same task.
Thanks for post.

Re: LockDismount v3.00
Interesting stuff ... few questions: Is this anything like NT6 Restriction Fix ? Are there any tools on the site or elsewhere that require this? Also, when I mirror files I try to list the MD5 and SHA-1 hashes for quick reference. That way, if your mirror goes down later, we can reference yours fil...

LockDismount v3.00
So what is that good for? Microsoft changed the way programs can directly write to physical drives in Windows Vista and later. More technical background informations about this new 'feature' (or restriction) can be found here: http://msdn.microsof...y/ff551353.aspx Unfortunately some older (but sti...

FolderAxe [DotNET file sorter: discontinued]
I'm not going to submit this to the database directly just yet as someone may well point out a reason why it doesn't qualify. I undertook a database and forum search and found no mention of it, nor a utility that performs the same task. Folder Axe was made with one purpose in mind, and that is to he...

Yes buddy, it's good. I like it.
Just wanted to post and stick up for you really. I think you got a little bit of a cold welcome to the forums. Nothing bad was said, just sometimes people can be a little short with their replies.
