Re: Linux Live USB Creator
I tried Portable VirtualBox with LinuxMint (both Gnome & LXDE), and it was unbelievably SLOW. Unusable. Maybe someone with a better box would have more luck. My stuff is getting long in the tooth.

Re: PotPlayer
There's a new stable release of Potplayer so I gave it a whirl. This may be one to keep an eye on. Looks and works pretty good. Nice features. But I don't have a clue what the "Pot" stands for. <shrug> Maybe I don't wanna know.

Re: Suggestion: Switch XMPlay listing to XMPlay Portable
If I want something in PA format I can access it directly from the PA site. If the standard app is acceptable, I know it's available here. Even when I don't care.. it's nice to have a choice. There are times when I just want to avoid begging for upgrades in the "it will be available when it's a...

PAF can also lock users into a single-source upgrade path. When developers release a new version, I don’t want to wait (or beg) for someone to PAF it. So install it, copy files and uninstall. That's not a problem. Your solution would certainly reduce forum traffic.. http://portableapps.com/node/155...

Adding Machine w/tape
In your many travels, have you ever happened on an app that mimics a desktop adding machine and with a "tape" on screen ?? Many thanks!
