Re: Looking for a portable file browser
I will try out kylo.
XBMC is too complicated, you need to setup metadata, and a lot of stuff.
I just need a browser to launch files with my already perfect video and music players. (media player classic)
and all my stuff is already organised by folders, I don't need yet another organizer.

Looking for a portable file browser
I don't know if you guys knew meedio, it was a HTPC style file browser that launched the files with the assigned apps.
I need something similar for my htpc with big buttons, and a search function from http://www.voidtools.com/
Any ideas ?

Re: DropIt
Suggestion :
I would like an option that displays a LIST of the destinations just to double check everything went into the correct place.
when i have 20 items that will auto sort, I just like to make sure it did so correctly

Re: DropIt
I could consider to add %BrowseDir% variable.. and I'll try to find a solution to improve %ParentDir% variable.. Instead of BrowseDir, you could try also another solution for it: 1. create an association with one of the desired subfolders as destination 2. right-click the created association and &q...

Re: DropIt
If I correctly understand, you would like to associate a folder as destination and be able to manually select one of its subfolders where move files into.. currently it is not possible, but I could consider to implement it.. About the second request, try to use %ParentDir% environment variable and ...

Re: DropIt
Thanks.. I think the context menu integration could be limited to all files with a general "Sort with DropIt", without more specific integrations and without add options in the software itself to manage them (the software born as portable and I prefer to preserve it, without differentiate...
