Re: Miranda NG

I've been using the 64bit NG and (other than 64bit with most of my plugins available) it's relatively the same.
Took at bit to reconfigure to be like my previous 32 bit MIR
but yeah it's still considered alphaish so maybe a mention in the miranda entry at most.

Re: A collection of portable applications

Look I too am poor, but the free version software is complete (save updater) and it is the only terms of this freenesss that you visit their website (or the other 2 official download spots) for updates. Pretty good deal if you compare it to competitors who don't care where you get it from but charge...

It has the following errors 1) winapp2 is not the official for...

Re: SIW 2011 (build 1029) doesn't work on win8

How exactly do you mean doesn't work. I have SIW 2010 0311 Business (free from GiveAwayaDay and I've been on a Domain until recently, thus I've not updated) and AKAICT it runs fine and doesn't seem to have anything that doesn't work. EDIT. . . it does show as windows 7 business under OS, I'll have t...

Re: Trillian Astra and Trillian 5

I've gone ahead and voted no, based on Joby_toss's Reg find and Bassiliin's odd finding (neither of which has been refuted) I used to use Trillian but it became too big and cumbersome on my portable (as well as the tragic effort it took to make the old version portable) I also don't like to have bun...

Re: Donationware

[opinion]Though .Net is increasingly on PCs, it is still optional. My dislike for it being in TPFC is that it then makes the programs included in the database depend on something/anything being on a PC. As far as donationware/nagware I've a much harder stance. If I'm fixing or working on someone els...

Simple Ping is a small program to help keep an eye on your current internet ping. I made this progra...
