Worth noting that all putty, winscp and bitvise SHH client updated together (so I would update those other two asap as well).
Also of note, all 3 of them seem to work well in XP (will report if otherwise upon further use).

Re: MusicScope anazing audio analyzer ,yap
Hi, where can a 32bit version be found? Thanks! I couldn't find the installer, impossible to complete the download from this page, but if you replace java with the 32-bit version, i think it will work https://www.upload.ee/files/16309664/jre-8u211-windows-i586.tar.gz.7z.html (You can download it yo...

Hi there, just wanted to report that the current version, and the previous two ones (despite what is advertized) work pretty well in XP, at least the portable components reported in https://www.portablefreeware.com/index.php?id=1437.
Cheers!

Re: BleachBit [Privacy oriented file cleaner]
Thanks for this, Midas. Manual updates of winapp2 have not worked for me (i know the drill, share\celaners folder etc). I downloaded this latest version (https://www.bleachbit.org/download/windows), updated winapp2, copy the relevant scripts to my share folder. Launched the old 2.2.0.0 version, and ...

Re: PDF tools grouped by feature
Hi there. Great topic. One thing missing is thumbnails' view of multiple pdf in a given folderl. The only one I know, most likely not portable, and that does not allow (in my set up, at least) changing the number of thumbnails is https://www.coolutils.com/PDFViewer. The idea is to be able to inspect...

He he. I don't play games, but what this guy did (and how well he tells it) is quite an accomplishment. Its implications are as well glorious, indeed.

"copy-pasting all your files to an external hard drive once a month couldn't hurt. We have lots of options here -- I happen to like Bvckup2."
Hi there. I use dimio's d-synchronize in real time with external drives. A must, today.
