Any automatic video to srt with automatic offline speech recognition?

This is a niche that seems to be without portable options, most are web based services like aws https://aws.amazon.com/transcribe/ or youtube. But sometimes you need to use an offline generator for sensitive data. Further perhaps useful info links https://towardsdatascience.com/generating-subtitles-...

Re: How to compare two folders and replace the newer versions of files with the older one.

with older files from the target and soource folders? because otherwise a regular operation would do.
i.e I have:

folder 1
file1 2022
file2 2019

Re: How to compare two folders and replace the newer versions of files with the older one.

Thank you all for all the advices. :) Tried DSynchronize but it doesn't have an option to replace newer files with older files. Oj don't want to replace older files with newer files, but the opposite, so that if I have two files, the older one replaces the newer file. I apologize should had better e...

I know this is a weird use case, hence I haven't found any app that does this but maybe there is and I just don't know it...

Does a collection of source code from portable and open apps exist?

Hi, it's been a while, hope you are all safe and sound.
So I was hoping that Portableapps.com included the source code of each app, o maybe I ust couldn't find it. But maybe a comprehensive source code collection with cateogries could be very useful for developpers?

webfork wrote: Sun Mar 08, 2020 1:25 pm Ran a test on this today, had a program crash when I tried to select a playlist. Has anyone figured out how to do batch downloads?
for me it worked setting max concurrent downloads to only one at a time, do note there is a newer version as well wich fixes a bug in the playlist download process

Interesting idea..

Re: Amphora - Youtube to audio or video downloader

Nice..
I'm going a bit off topic, but is somehow related and something for which I don't have the fix: Is there any way to conveniently record a youtube live stream? in separated tracks using the track metadata? Maybe that could a be a useful addition in the future.

Re: XP compatible software

From XAMPP download page: Windows XP or 2003 are not supported. You can download a compatible version of XAMPP for these platforms here. https://sourceforge.net/projects/xampp/files/XAMPP%20Windows/1.8.2/ Considering that this version dates back to 2013 and that the portable version didn't manage to...

Re: "Color Bookmarker" App?

Thank you Appsuser. Well those links don't allow to use custom colors, but on the other hand is the same idea of arranging colors in squares with their codes. @webfork Thanks for the suggestions. Color Warlock has many features and is my second pick, that said I would prefer a different interface. F...

"Color Bookmarker" App?

Among other things I have been collecting colors for web design use. The problem: it isn't practical to save them in a text file and view each color for example in Gimp or a color picker. Does it exist a "color bookmark" application such that it maybe could display all the colors in small ...
