Portable freeware submission? [MD5 Hash]

www.whitsoftdev created many years ago (lol I've been using it off and on for YEARS and recently refound it) a very simple md5 checksum utility. http://www.whitsoftdev.com/md5/ i didnt see it listed, but from jogging my memory was able to "refind" it. It seems "portable" to me, b...

Having not read this whole thread, I gotta say, I like the thumbs up, thumbs down ratings :)

I always hated the 5 star stuff, because either something is good, or it's bad, for me :)

good point, lol. yea, it's one of those sony atrac CD (I won't be burning it as atrac though...hehehe) players. I've not yet burned an mp3 CD with it yet, I was thinking I'd need special software or whatever for the text/tags to show up. Normally, it just shows the Track 1, Track 2, etc. with audio ...

Burn "MP3 Disk" with CD TEXT?

Burrrn works GREAT for "Audio" (80 minute/700 MB) disks.... But, I got an Mp3-CD Player that I wish to burn mp3s to CD-R - WITH CD-TEXT. Are there any free software out there that is capable of this...since my Nero trial has expired. And Windows Media Player will not burn CD-TEXT (probably...

pykeylogger. Created with Python, doesn't require any dependencies afaik..... There is a binary available, which WILL display a nag.... There is also SOURCE available (it's opensource) which will NOT produce a nag, if executed from source. Optionally, if you have Python knownledge (any takers....? :...

Nearly every Windows computer has it from start > Run.

Though, I'm sure it spills it's beans all over the registry lol.

Interesting enough....?

LiveHTTPHeaders is a firefox extention that can grab the headers, allowing you to detect the "files" as they are played. But you have to manually download them, it will only show you the files that firefox requests. TheLastRipper (code.google.com has it from search) might be worth a try if...

very cool post :) The thing with Audio/Visual I think is, if you can't store your mp3s on your stick (size, basically being the barrier), what's the need for a "portable" audio/video player. Same thing with Video Encoding tools. Though I often come to PFC to find cool apps, because I know ...

Firewrath, that sounds neat :)

Though I've been a fan of Torpark...though with the whole XeroBank speculation, who knows...(they seem to have gone a bit too commercial for my tastes).

Firefox, and I assume Portable Firefox too, has a feature to "save" passwords. Would this be good enough? I dont know, but I "think" from my tests, with the "AutoType" feature in Password Safe, the keylogger I had on my system was actually able to intercept the keystrok...

Great alternative though.

Im a fan of phishtank.com...I dont know how "aggressive" they are in combating phishers...but between that site, other anti-phishing sites, and forwarding said e-mails to spoof@paypal.com, spoof@ebay.com, et all...most of them don't last too long ;) Sadly though...new ones pop up every day...

About MusicBrainz, if I'm understanding this correctly what it does is the exact same thing as the other db servers out there like freedb and CDDB. I'd rather stick with a tagger with freedb support than anything else. Is there something else that MusicBrainz does that I'm not aware of? not really ...
