Re: Alien Arena 7.51

Makes me wonder if I still have access here to update entries. ;) Absolutely. You're no longer a moderator, but in the meantime Andrew Lee has introduced the editing function and the add function . Currently everyone with rank 1 or higher (see the second link above) has access to update entries. Yo...

Re: Alien Arena 7.51

The system requirements should be, essentially, beefier Quake II. It's a heavily modified idtech 2 engine so really, you should have no problem running it in 640x480 with all the bells and whistles off on Win98 with modest hardware so long as your system (GPU or onboard) supports OpenGL. Obviously, ...

You missed DM2 , which comes with a virtual desktop plugin. Not entirely sure why you'd want multiple desktops with DM2 since the float icons eliminate clutter in the best possible way (can't use windows without it when you get used to it). BBLean also has virtual desktops built into it, but that's ...

Don't you still need JRE installed for the portable version to run? No good!

This is a bit of a gray area for portability. I just installed the program and can only connect to the OpenFT network, which immediately makes me think that I'd have to set up any router I'm using in order for the program to actually deliver everything it promises. Secondly, the configuration wizard...

And to think I just got done promoting these games on another forum. Nice find Local, will give them the extra once-over to make sure they're portable but I'm quite sure that you're right. There was another game made freeware by them called Blood Zero. It was a CRPG with a real time battle system. S...

HOLY CRAP. I didn't even realize it, but I don't think Google Ads are showing up at all. I smell a conspiracy.

Nevermind, I figured it out. I am an idiot, folks.

Added, thanks! Not too shabby, though a speed-up key would be nice under some circumstances.

Local: you'll get no argument from me. NES wins.

I checked and I haven't filtered them out at all - I don't filter Google ads anyways. I'm using Opera@USB 9.25... That's just damn weird.

So basically it's just the same as a real-life fish. It dies while I enjoy games on my computer.

Ye gods I hope I never have a child.

I guess this is too late and probably not much help but I just remembered.. A while ago I had a similar poblem on a couple of pages using firefox. The problem I found with that was the font I was using. A quick change of font for my browser and everything dropped back into place. I don't use Opera ...

You know, I don't really think I need to say anything to that. Due to the over-zealous response to my post it's clear that even if I did say something it would simply fall on deaf ears. Have fun with your red lizard religion. Anyhow, thanks again for the quick fix Andrew - hopefully soon a more suit...

Works fine now Andrew though I'm quite curious as to why the text ads were causing problems. I've visited plenty of other sites with similar ads with no issues. It seems all of the ads are gone now (including banners) - are you sure it's all right with your advertisers for that to happen? Granted, O...

"Sandisk and Microsoft have recently announced a partnership to develop a new line of portable USB-based hardware. This series, currently unnamed, is expected to replace U3 by the end of 2008, making the U3 format obsolete." Let's hope that it's not Vista only, though I'm guessing it will...
