Re: ProEject

Settings.exe has been removed from the ZIP file because of the flagging & spicydog created it using the .bat file and a battoexe converter. I initially created it in AutoIt but the filesize was large so spicydog sent me this instead. Yeah, I've see the AutoIt version's Settings launcher and it ...

Re: DropIt

The _PathGetRelative is in File.au3 and it seems DropIt already include it. It is much easier and less code lines perhaps if we are using _PathGetRelative instead of using the winapi. Besides, gaining the performance in that area is not give much impact to the end-user experience since it just conve...

Re: DropIt

Hi DropIt devs, Just asking. Is there any particular reason for DropIt not having the ability converting the absolute path to relative path automatically for end user? There is _PathGetRelative function that can do the job as what i have used it in my simple app PathGetRelative . I made a quick and ...

Re: Newbie wondering about path portability

I keep ending up with absolute paths, which cause the launcher to break when I try to use it anywhere except in the creation directory. First, how do you create your launcher? In v0.6 GUI, supposedly you should create it by click ADD > App > In-Package App > Select the executable . The GUI will han...

Re: Is it possible to exclude CMD\BAT file?

Well done. You're very good in the analysis and testing to the problem. By run test with several file managers, you were able to remove one possibility the error message was from the application itself. From the snapshot, obviously one message was coming from the JauntePE. Goggling "The request...

Re: running jpe quickie on x64

Another alternative to built "iconized launcher" is JPEALMaker.exe which is available in the latest build of version 0.6.
I think it might work on version 0.5

Re: Is it possible to exclude CMD\BAT file?

At this moment there is no setting to exclude file types from redirection. But you did the right thing to exclude cmd.exe as a way excluding the *.bat file type from being launch in redirection. That is current solution available for now. I think more info is required to solve this puzzle. IMO, it w...

Re: Dropbox (JPE Launcher)-----TESTERS NEEDED

Sorry for the delay. I have simplified some of the portable set-up steps but i can't automate the dropbox setup wizard. So please read the Installing procedure in the topic.

Re: running jpe quickie on x64

Not sure but i guess you have to try and find it yourself. What i know is redllar only made the change to JPEPortable.exe for the tester to try it out on the x64 system, but not in jpe quickie. I only can recommend you to try the latest alpha build of 060 GUI and see if that work for you. Else, the ...

JPE 0.6.0 GUI Feedback Needed

http://images.devs-on.net/Thumb/QfJS2zFBhrHVlsr-7zipPortableJaun.png Redllar has release a functioning mockup GUI for the open-source version of JPE. There is no guideline how to use the GUI but that is the actual challenge for it. See if it is easy enough to use. If you previously use JPE, you’ve ...

Re: Portable testing process

Thumbs up to the process map. I love visual representation information.
If the process map is specific to TPFC, then i think the first criteria and most important for the app to be in the database is the app licenses should not be a payware
