Re: Ring (Internet video chat)

It is possible to skip the install process via 7zip installer extraction, but I couldn't fix the config file location. It's at (c:\Users\USERNAME\.config\ring) and it doesn't matter if you move it to the app folder. Seems like it's in early development so hopefully something will turn around with th...

Re: Ring (Internet video chat)

It's not exactly a new update, but some months back, Ring put out an update and it's looking pretty great: > Encrypted audio/video/messaging communications > Screen sharing > Push notifications > Audio & video call recording > Conferencing service available on GNU/Linux and Win32 clients > Support o...

Re: FaceCam Cover Submission

Fixed. I modified the entry further, listing the config instructions in this forum. Obviously if you need to modify those in the future, just create/edit a new post and I'll point to that. EDIT : Oh and I found the program this reminded me of: CinemaDrape: https://www.portablefreeware.com/forums/vi...

Re: [Release] FaceCam Cover

For more options, right-click on FaceCam cover or its tray icon and click on "Create INI". This will generate a file Options.ini in the same folder as FaceCamCover.exe . Edit this INI file in a standard text editor to change the color of the FaceCam Cover or let you display a clock via the CTRL butt...

Re: Ziepod - podcast client

Old thread update: Ziepod is a podcast manager that appears to have ended development (no development since '07).

A good overview is over at Softpedia: https://www.softpedia.com/get/IPOD-TOOL ... epod.shtml

Re: LASTAR - batch audio normalizer and splitter

So a new version came out a few months ago and was looking to retest, but the latest version requires MS Visual Studio Redist, which I was unable to find a working link/download for so ... maybe someone else will want to mess with this. Here's an old screenshot for the last version of the program th...

Similarity - find similar audio and image files

This program was updated a few days ago and it seemed like time to retry. Some usage notes: It runs a little slow in it's initial analysis but I don't expect that's something that can be fixed - it just takes time to analyze and compare. The adjustable similarity values is really cool and has a lot ...

Re: mpTrim - MP3 editor to trim, fade, and change volume

The last update was two years ago but the program works great. I initially dismissed this program initially as it didn't have a way to modify file ending/beginning outside of timecode, but the "auto" feature allows silence detection, which is really all I need. There's also an auto for the volume co...
