Just a note here that it's possible to block ALL EXE files in batch/recursively inside a given folder. I did this recently for a group of old programs that I didn't want to connect to the Internet.

I've added it to my list of stuff to test. Just based on my current cycle, I should get to it in the next week or two. Can bump that up if needed.

No they are literally the settings of the program, it's how the program works, it checks your registry to see if there were changes since the last time you ran the program and cross-checks that with the .cfg file with your settings, if they differ it will ask you if you want to change the registry ...

No recent updates (since 2019) but the changelog lists a portable version (https://www.medo64.com/qtext/history/), which I guess means the "zipped version". Unfortunately in my tests, it's still not writing all settings to the local folder. Still not portable.
