Autorun.inf Editor allows you to quickly and easily create the an "autorun.inf" file that tell an autorun (also known as "autoplay") CD to automatically play upon insertion into a CD-ROM drive. You can set a label and an icon for the CD, specify a program on the CD to run when the CD is inserted, and add various entries and commands to the context menu when a user right-clicks on the CD.

Downloads of "Autorun.inf Editor" are prevented due to "Server Error in '/ECommerce' Application". The author's website does NOT allow user's feedback! If you wish to continue your posting of "Autorun.inf Editor", you should inform the author's website of their "catch 22".

AutoStart creates an icon in the system tray for each external memory device connected to the system. Right-clicking on this icon opens a context menu that allows you to conveniently perform various related functions (explore, search, eject, properties).
Left-clicking opens the drive in Explorer by default but the default application can be specified in the "shell" parameter of AUTORUN.INF. AutoStart also comes with a rudimentary launcher that is functional if you have a small number of applications stored on your memory stick.

I wouldn't call the the launcher "rudimentary". It works great and I actually find it better than other menus.

Still available from Softpedia. Tested, works as expected. Shame about the lack of Unicode support, but still extremely handy. |
Autorun Injector gives the user the ultimate control over their removable drive's "autorun" controls via the Autorun.inf file. This helps in case of infection or corruption, offering the ability to restore it to an accessible state as well as help decorrupt the entire drive. Also, it can protect the file from being accessed by malware activity, and prevent system corruption through removable media.
A 64-bit version is available (within the folder).

The listed System Requirements are for x86 (32-bit) Operating Systems only. x64 Operating Systems are not supported at all. |
No Autorun prevents a USB storage device from auto-running, preventing annoying or malicious programs from automatically starting on your machine. When a USB disk is inserted, the program not only locks the autorun.inf file, but also locks all the autorun-related program and other suspicious files.
