Would be nice if it had an option to not search subfolders.

Hinesmdc on 2015-06-05 02:51

@kiwichick It does!

Absolutely excellent program that saved a ton of room on my hard drive, clearing out duplicates as well as several multiple-size images from an earlier effort to compress some really big photos. The best part is how it automatically sees two photos that are already very similar and helps you pick the better one to archive. There were only one or two false-positives in a batch of hundreds (a concert picture somehow got paired with a painting of Mozart).

I reckon there should be a mention somewhere in the entry's description that Atom is based on (in fact, is like the ur-deployment of) the Electron framework [https:// en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electron_(software_framework)! Broken URL, please copy excluding the exclamation, paste and amend].

Maybe mention in props, that alternative is CudaText.

@webfork
There's a "More downloads..." link on the developer's Website. "How to extract" mentions that, but nunz failed to RTFT.

webfork on 2013-06-04 20:23

Baas: no prob, thanks for direct-linking the 32 and 64-bit versions. Adding a notice about the adware version.

TP109 on 2014-09-05 05:39

In spite of the adware issues, I think this is the easiest-to-use and to setup CPU temperature application. It's on all my PCs and I've never had a problem with it. Just set it and forget it. The digital temperature display in the system tray is very visible and useful when resource-heavy apps are running. I'm surprised this isn't rated higher.

@outskirter: I had the same problem while testing the latest version (MS Sans Serif font isn't really ClearType friendly); solved with ResHack by finding all instances of 'MS Sans Serif' and replacing them with 'MS Shell Dlg'...

freakazoid on 2013-07-05 14:58

Was testing some Notepad alternatives the other night, and while TED Notepad is relatively small in size, it uses almost 4x the memory (hovering around 9MB). Just a FYI.
