Additional note: the program appears to freeze when asked to scan directories with more than around 100 gigs of music.

I was one of the many people begging for Songbird Portable back when it was just a "hatchling". I believe it took 1-2 years before an official portable version was made -- by that time Foobar2000 became my inseparable best mate. Sure Songbird is the new kid on the block and Speed, memory and no itunes support will probably be it's Achilles heal, but it has a lot of potential through add-ons and it's web support.

As I dislike PA.com launchers myself, I went looking around for alternatives and found SongChick (for more info, see http://www.portablefreeware.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=60297#p60297). |
FirePasswordViewer recovers login passwords stored by Firefox such as username and password for every website visited by the user. If the user chooses to save their password, FirePasswordViewer can recover these secrets and export them to HTML. If the master password is enabled, the program will require this to open the encrypted information.
The program is an interface for the FirePassword tool.
Note that the main website download link has switch to an encrypted installer. Linking to softpedia.

Disk Cleaner cleans up disk space that is used by temporary files like those in the system temporary folder, the Internet Explorer Cache and Cookies folder, and the Recycle Bin. It supports numerous plugins for cleaning up the cache/history of third party apps, including Firefox, Google Toolbar, Yahoo Messenger etc.
Note: The portability of more recent versions is in question so we are currently linking to the last known portable version.

To adhere to Vista/7 defaults, Disk Cleaner no longer writes to the application folder by default, but to the users %APPDATA% folder instead. Old behavior (that is, portable) is still supported by running Disk Cleaner with the -p command line switch.

That's right, Robert. Using the -p switch the program first tries to find a dcsettings.ini file on the program folder, if it doesn't exist then goes to %APPDATA%\Disk Cleaner — if this doesn't exist neither then it creates that folder and file. That's why the first time used -even with the -p switch- the program creates that undesired location.

FavTool (Internet Explorer Import and Export Favorites) is a small utility to convert Netscape Bookmark HTML files (used by Firefox) into Microsoft Internet Explorer favorites and vice versa. The latest versions of Internet Explorer do include an import/export wizard, but some IE-based browsers may not have this function, so this is still a handy tool to have around.
