I used Universal Extractor to open the installer, then copied the {app} folder to my PortableApps directory on my USB drive. I renamed it to Artweaver and created the .ini file. Seems to run just fine! I guess the {embedded} directory contains license files and so forth; not necessary to run the program. Very nice!

@foxcole: click the link in 'how to extract.', you need to replace bin/innounp.exe with the latest version, yours only supports versions up to 5.1.1. Innounp version 0.36 supports unpacking version 5.4.2 Inno Setup installers.
Worked for me.

  • Released on 22 May 2017
  • Suggested by milentechie

DSynchronize lets you copy, move, or synchronize folders on your computer or over a network. The program can sync in both directions, making both folders up-to-date with the latest data, do realtime sync where any changes copied to destination, and even verify it's transfers. The program can schedule operations, add timestamps to the destination folder, and keep multiple backups (iterations).

If in use, the program can even eject a USB device when an operation is complete.

@ahmedemad: you might try Recuva, for example (http://www.portablefreeware.com/?id=1139)...

Latest version of DSynchronize (2.30.9) fails to run on my system (Windows 8.1 x64)- it opens and exits almost immediately. This never happened with any version prior to 2.30.9. I contacted the developer but haven't got any response so far. If he had responded I would have provided him with the dump files.

Thanks for trying. Dsyncronize has been a reliable program and the developer has been fairly active over the years. I hope he gets back to you.

NetworkLatencyView v1.50 Updated

billon on 22 May 2017
  • 171KB (uncompressed)
  • Released on 21 May 2017
  • Suggested by Checker

NetworkLatencyView listens to network connections on your system and checks for connection response time or "latency" (often called lag when very high). The program can view up to 10 addresses, their values, and the average of all the connections. This is very similar to the results from pinging.

Works with TCP protocol connections and allows you to easily export the latency information to text/csv/tab-delimited/html/xml file, or copy the information to the clipboard and then paste it to Excel or other application.

Category:
System Requirements: Win2K / WinXP / Vista / Win7 / Win8 / Win10
Writes settings to: Application folder
Dependencies: Capture driver (WinPcap capture driver or Network Monitor driver v3.4 or later)
Stealth: ? Yes
License: Freeware
How to extract: Download the ZIP package and extract to a folder of your choice. Launch NetworkLatencyView.exe.
What's new?
  • Added /cfg command-line option, which instructs NetworkLatencyView to use a config file in another location instead if the default config file, for example:
    NetworkLatencyView.exe /cfg "%AppData%\NetworkLatencyView.cfg".

I like the way I can export the data info several different ways. Although this is not pinging it gives good info for what I want. Thanks for a nice App :)
