Has some interesting features but so far I find I prefer PhotoDemon, which seems to have a few more filters and controls.

A simple operation of copy / paste a piece of an image is a nightmare.
No shell options for selection.

@PapaiMark I am a bit shocked that you say it would be nightmare to copy / paste a piece of an image. I invite you to add an issue on the GitHub page of LazPaint to explain the problem you are encountering. You can also post suggestions of improvement there.

@thepiney: Same here. I've used magnet links no problem. The only time I've had errors is when the program loses access to the downloaded torrent files while it's still trying to share them (if you deleted or moved the downloaded files without deleting the torrent file). I moved from uTorrent because they started adding advertising, but there are settings tweaks to remove it.

JudyGarland on 2019-12-05 06:31

Qbittorrent does not support Windows XP and Vista anymore from v.4.2.0, though 'portableapps' seems not aware of that.
Please update 'System Requirements' section.

Regards

Windows Registry Recovery v2.3.0 Updated

billon on 21 Oct 2020
  • 4MB (uncompressed)
  • Released on 19 Oct 2020
  • Suggested by AlephX

Windows Registry Recovery allows to directly read files containing Windows registry hives and extract many useful information about the configuration and windows installation settings of the host machine.

Note that the program is not simply a registry editor: it works with other tools, including exported keys. It’s useful for seeing registry issues, sandboxing tools, and diagnostics. To your own computer's registry files, open a NTUSER.DAT system file but keep in mind that these are usually hidden by Windows to avoid accidental deletion.

Category:
Runs on:WinXP / Vista / Win7 / Win8 / Win10
Writes settings to: Registry, if "Persistent layout" option is enabled (it'll be saved to 'HKCU\Software\MiTeC\Wrr').
Stealth: ? Yes. But only if no layout is saved; otherwise see "Writes settings to" above.
Unicode support: Yes
License: Free for personal use
How to extract: Download the ZIP package and extract to a folder of your choice. Launch WRR.exe.
Similar/alternative apps: RegistryViewer, RawReg
What's new?
  • Added CRC64 and SHA256.
  • Fixed:
    • Data Viewer inspector;
    • Windows Product key decoding.

I find it a good Program. Only one of its kind. You should know where your registry hives are.
