Ifactor v1.0

webfork on 20 Jan 2020

Ifactor computes the prime factors for any given number. The program can factor large integers, but the practical limit is an integer in the trillions (15 digits). For example the number 999,999,999,999,999 will take about a minute for the program to factor. While you can enter numbers with more than 15 digits, the factorization will take a very long time.

...but, if I enter some "mistake", it switches off

Myself on 2007-10-26 16:47

I tried using the micosoft's driver for Geforce2 MX/MX400 graphic card that I have in my computer and now the program seems to work fine. For some reason it does not work well with drivers provided by NVIDIA.

The website is down and it is available from the waybackmachine.

The link in abc's comment works fine. Otherwise Softpedia's mirror is a good alternative:

Folderico v3.7.2

webfork on 16 Jan 2019
  • 4MB (uncompressed)
  • Released on 4 Jan 2007
  • Suggested by crownixx

Folderico allows you to change the default icon of any folder. It performs this feat by creating a desktop.ini file in the chosen folder that points to the desired icon (also automatically created) so that Windows Explorer will render the folder icon differently. Folderico does not need to be running for the new folder icon to be displayed, and the changes are sticky even when the hard disk or memory stick is plugged into another machine.

(According to http://www.portablefreeware.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=14553) Seems Folderico v4.0.0.12 RC12 is portable: http://eng.softq.org/folderico/portable ...

Another portable alternative is Cylog FolderIcons (http://www.portablefreeware.com/?id=203).

No longer freeware. Homepage and download links for entry not valid. New home page https://www.folderico.com/

I could not download the application from the waybackmachine (pointed by TPFC), but it is available on softpedia.
