Ignore my previous comment. I am an idiot. It actually uses an old version of Sumatra, which was faster and lighter. |

I'd like to note that for Windows Vista+, if you extract the signed version of S+ to a folder under Program Files and manually install the StrokesPlus.cer certificate into Trusted Root Certification Authorities, S+ can be run without administrative privileges and still interact with programs which are running with administrative privileges as well as interact with Windows 8 screens (Start screen, task switcher, etc.).

There is a typo in the link, which is pointing to a non-existent strokesplus_2.7.8.1_x86.zippip, rather than to strokesplus_2.7.8.1_x86.zip |

Printing! I don't know where I saw it, but to Print from Mempad, Export (Page, Node, or Structure), then in the dialogue box, tick "Open the file" and "with program:" and type in notepad.exe /p (or as I do, ted.exe /p -- see ted.exe at http://www.portablefreeware.com/index.php?id=858)

@Cornflower, I`ve tried that but when you save in MemPad it doesn`t update the dropbox file, you have to export it again. No good. |
mp3DirectCut is a small tool for editing MPEG audio directly. You can remove parts, change the volume, split files or copy regions to new files, all without the need to decompress your MP3 into PCM/WAV. This saves work, encoding time and disk space. In addition, there is no quality loss to edited files.

In v2.22 there's a 'Configuration Storage' setting under Prefs>Folders. By default it's unchecked. Does it need to be enabled for portable use?

The new "flat" design with similar monochrome icons is a step back in usability. Normal appearance, apart from grouping of toolbar buttons, can be restored under Configuration -> Layout.
