Apparently UniExtract got into an infinite loop when I tried to extract the installer. I have edited the instructions a bit.

lintalist on 2015-04-27 12:36

For v2.5.0: I don't think civclient.exe is present anymore and it should now be freeciv-gtk2.cmd or freeciv-gtk2.exe which would start the game.

WinMend File Copy at version 2.3.0.0 but I think that the extraction procedure is a bit different- in the "{app}" folder there are two DLLs which are the same- "drag,1.dll" and "drag,2.dll"- one of them should be renamed to "drag.dll" and the other should be deleted. Optionally- "checkupdate.exe" and "LiveUpdate.exe" also can be deleted.

file i downloaded shows 28/68 on VT

smaragdus on 2018-07-25 08:28

File version (FileCopy.exe)- 2.3.0.0.
Title bar & About Us also show WinMend File Copy 2.3.0.0.
To make WinMend File Copy work after extraction rename "drag,1.dll" to "drag.dll" and delete "drag,2.dll", then run "FileCopy.exe".

Can recover delete note(s), import text (.txt) file(s), import Outlook exported .csv file and Toodledo Notebook .csv file.

Unicode support: Yes
Path portability: Automatic relative path (eg. ..\..\personal\work.doc)
License: Freeware
How to extract: Download the "Portable" ZIP package and extract to a folder of your choice. Launch ResophNotes.exe.

Optionally, to save each note as an individual text file (the default database file is not easily readable by other programs), create a folder (e.g. Notes) and enter the name of that directory into the File Directory blank under the Storage tab (relative pathways like ..\Notes work fine). Existing notes in this folder will be automatically added.

After writing my previous comment, I stumbled upon iA Writer (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.ia.iawriter) which turned into my current favorite Android editor/noter... =)

I'm not keeping this. It looks like a capable enough app, but the skins are offensive. Downloaded, extracted, 45 seconds later it's gone. (And don't even begin to tell me "just delete the skins", because there are three embedded skins are are worse than the external ones)

It crashes every time I click on "Edit Templates".

81KB. I don't know why I love these small proggies so much. Anyhow, this editor works great. It is not polished, but it certainly works. Good call, AlephX.
