The website says this is compatible only up to XP, the README file says it's compatible up to Vista. When I tried it on my Win 7 Ultimate 64-bit computer, it didn't display any of my hard drives in the main window and only two hard drives under the partition tab. It's probably not 64-bit compatible. Leelu Virtual Drives Manager v1.00

Leelu Virtual Drives Manager let you in a quick way, create a Symbolic link (aka MS-DOS Device name) to a folder and present it as drive. Drives that are created with will stay even after you restart your system and you can easily remove them by restarting Virtual Drives Manager.

This is useful for some applications that insist on being installed to a specific/root drive, to more easily and logically divide your directory structure for different users, or to create a quick access to a long path directly from My Computer.

Note: We are linking to the 1.0 version of this software but other versions of this software are considered adware.

A variety of secure erase methods are available including free space or whole-drive wipe using either basic (zero out / pseudorandom) or high-security standards (like DoD).

Note: While more secure, more passes are progressively slower and can reduce the life of the flash memory drive.

Very nice little program. Swiss army knife of HD software.

I was worried that this program writes to the registry (HKLM\HDTune), but you can avoid this by NEVER changing the default options/configurations. You can look at the options, just DO NOT click OK. There are very few options anyways and the default options are fine.

The only registry entries left will be the regular entries for recently used documents, recent files, MRU, etc. But these cannot be avoided because they are Microsoft generated.

Great diagnosis tool to find out if the hard drive is the bottleneck and my favorite indicator tool because of its simplicity. However its not very efficient. Efficient but not effecitve. Far more resource-friendly than the similarly-named "Hard Disk Indicator" (http://portablefreeware.com/?id=230) but not as usable. Red indicators and movement on the taskbar are distracting and thus make this only useful for diagnostics and not everyday use. Also, the scales provided are based on the previous minute of activity, not on actual hard drive speeds. Annoying.
