@Midas did you enable hibernation via "powercfg -h on" as administrator? It worked perfectly for me and now TimeComX shows hibernation as well as sleep mode.

Onesimus Prime on 2020-04-22 01:42

In need of a timer program, I just tried to use this one portably. The previous instructions (i.e. just portable "out of the box" once extracted) didn't work, nor did creating an .ini (mentioned in comments here for a previous version) or manually moving its settings files to a profiles or config subfolder or the app folder itself.

Finally on the archived version of their webpage I found this explanation: "For TimeComX Basic 1.3.x you need to create a text file (can be empty) named "portable.txt" in the root folder of TimeComX."--see https://web.archive.org/web/20140327235607/http://www.bitdreamers.com/en/products/timecomx/faq

I have updated the instructions here to reflect this, but someone else may want to still clean it up a bit.

TreeCopy v1.11

webfork on 20 Jun 2020

TreeCopy is a unique directory copier taking the various folders the source folder to a set of empty target folders. Its unique from similar tools as it copies only the directory structure and not the files. This is useful for developers and in testing.

This functionality is similar to the windows command line "xcopy" i.e. XCOPY source [destination] /T /E, but this tool allows this action without needing to remember command line switches.

I like user interface, but TreeCopy do not copy my file or folder.

shnbwmn on 2015-12-07 09:34

According to the website, it also works on Win 7 and 8. I'm hesitant to use it on Win 10 since it says "TreeCopy will only work successfully on these specific Windows operating systems:", and then doesn't list Win 10.

To Gawran: those non-techs such as myself would rather use a larger, "clumsy" program with a GUI than fiddle with commands.

I was not able to download through the application website or download website given in the entry.

I was able to download from softpedia a version 1.92

http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/SyncEXP-Download-36156.html

Fhutt on 2014-06-01 00:19

I have used SyncExp for years now and find it impossible to do without.
I do have a problem though. I would like either to turn off the automatic log file updating or somehow redirect the log file to another folder instead of the syncexp.exe folder.
Can anyone help?

Download link not working and appears to be dead for some time.

Last known link that worked for me today is on the Wayback Machine at Archive.org.

The software can view, edit, create, and remove actions, as well as change the associated icons. You can also control if the file extension will be hidden/shown by default and whether a confirmation will be required to open it after download.

You can also choose the default action when multiple options available, the others appearing when you right-click and choose "Open With".

Backups of the registry entries to create these changes are available for one or multiple file extensions.

lautrepay said "In fact, since the program does not save settings, it does always start in German."

This seems to be confirmation of my exact statement previous regarding starting in German and having NO SETTINGS.

Re: The trick, YES I noticed how to change to English MY POINT was it ALWAYS STARTS in German. (Just in case you missed that.)

So unless someone can show me that it will save the English setting I will assume that as I surmised it is standard behavior and I am still right.

Seizure Dome

  • Released on
  • Suggested by Fluffy

Seizure Dome is an arena shooter with plenty of motion blurring, flashing colors and hefty pixels. Your goal is to destroy everything that comes at you without being pushed to the sides of the screen or otherwise disposed of. Addictive action combined with stomach-churning visual effects and a song that you'll never get out of your head is what this game is all about.

Contains some mild nudity, although 8-bit and not graphic by any stretch of the imagination.

Note: Please exercise your personal discretion as to whether your health permits playing this game; the name is not to be taken lightly at all. If you suffer from headaches, nausea or photosensitive seizures while playing any other game you will likely want to avoid this one.

Only if you choose Service, Create Service, I think. Some programs contains functions that are not portable eg. create file association, add shell context menu, add system service etc. It is at your discretion not to activate them if portability is important to you!

Save electricity when you know how long a download or maintinence program is going to run. You can even set the computer to shut down / standby when a given program stops running.

I use this at work to schedule MyDefrag to run at a specific time and when it's done, the computer reboots. No waiting for the defrag to finish! I love this program.

I JUST DIED A LITTLE (from joy)

32kb! If the readme.html is converted to readme.txt its a 1kb txt file!

Thats 33kb total with the readme/eula as a txt file (I hope thats still "legal/ok")!

Atomic Butcher is a side-scrolling action game in the spirit of Abuse, but much more violent and graphic. Battle across the radiation-warped wasteland of Earth in search for meat to feed your shelter, using the mouse to aim and the keyboard to move.

Warning: NOT for the easily offended, as it contains plenty of blood, gore and urine. There is also a package offered that does not contain the music files, which cuts the size in half (roughly 30 megabytes).
