I needed to connect to an onion site and downloaded the latest version (5.0.2) but Australis makes Tor Browser absolutely terrible and unusable- I do not want to install heaps of add-ons just to restore features the Mozilla idiots removed. I had an earlier version of Tor Browser (3.6.0- before the advent of the abominable Australis) but the perpetual blinking of the Tor button urging for update is unbearable and cannot be disabled. It can be removed from the tool-bar but this way one cannot acquire new identities.

Many plugins were also updated in this version, so IrfanView recommends updating them if you update IrfanView itself. |

Solved: the download on the portable freeware site does not include a file "todolist.exe.manifest" that is required to run on XP. If you have an existing earlier version of todolist, it will have a file "todolist.exe.xp.manifest". Dan the developer advises to rename that to "todolist.exe.manifest". Seems to work.

The download contains the "todolist.exe.xp.manifest" file, and renaming that to "todolist.exe.manifest" works
