@Emka: Can you post in forums about what you're seeing? Sometimes if you have an add-on it will write to appdata.

Emka on 2019-07-16 07:43

Hm, now I can't reproduce it... I'll post in the forums if I encounter it again. I already did so for Thunderbird Portable.

64 bit system: save 181 MB by deleting firefox folder, and renaming firefox64 to firefox. Beta, standard, and ESR work fine.

Defender does not like 4.5 either. Tried 32 and 64 bit, neither will run. Standing with 4.3 64-bit.

webfork on 2019-04-26 21:13

@PAFuser - I'd recommend running it past VirusTotal rather than relying on Defender. It's very likely a false positive.

MoisheP on 2020-02-05 19:40

Finally, v. 4.8 can be installed on Windows without being aborted by Defender and it is no longer flagged by VirusTotalcom engines. The last two versions had been unusable for those reasons.

Nice tool. Should accept copy&pasted JSON-Data too.
Would be even better, if it could produce JSON classes for C#, VB.NET from the JSON data.

jamesmalvi on 2014-11-27 08:29

I would suggest to use online json viewer http://codebeautify.org/jsonviewer

Happy Holidays To You All :)
Just wondering...Do any of you fine folks have the Palemoon Portable Browser v28 installed on a Vista Home Premium 32-bit OS?
Well, if you do, would you please tell me how? I've DL'ed a couple of v28's and installed them and they wouldn't launch.
To my knowledge of what I've been reading, Palemoon v28+ is for Windows 7+.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pale_Moon_%28web_browser%29

Please tell me your tips & tricks so I can go back to using Palemoon. Thanks so much.

Take care.

freakazoid on 2018-12-08 22:06

@Happy.Camper2 - You can probably use New Moon by Roy Tam. Check the MSFN forums for a link.

Pale Moon has become my default and favorite browser. It is laid out for the convenience of users rather than being handicapped to keep up with the latest in look, touch and feel that kills productivity. Pale Moon is for those that want to get work done, with as little time as possible lost to the eternal quest to locate moved, missing or deleted features that are too common in other browsers at every update. As for all browsers, sometimes pages are not rendered correctly and if so, I just jump briefly to a different browser - but I always end up returning to Pale Moon. In recent years the collection of Pale Moon-specific add-ons has increased dramatically, making it a fine substitute for Firefox.
