ThunderbirdPassDecryptor is a tool that recovers the stored mail account password by Mozilla Thunderbird. You can also use it to recover the Thunderbird account passwords from another system (i.e. a backup or profile folder).

@Sam - I know this is a little late, but use Lupo's Universal Extractor (http://www.lupopensuite.com/db/universalextractor.htm). I just used it and it works.

Downloaded as per link. Got a 1.7. Inside zip file is a setup program using installer from http://www.nirsoft.net/. Universal Extractor can't handle that.
